Director, Inpatient Services
Provides 24/7 oversight
Houston Hospital, Pediatric Orthopaedic Care


Reporting to the Director, Patient Care Services, the Director of Inpatient Services plans, supervises and directs activities of a number of departments associated with the provision of quality care for our pediatric orthopaedic in-patients. Responsibilities are 24/7 and include staffing and education of personnel, environmental control, and overall administrative duties.

Operating Room Registered Nurses

PRN & *Full Time

*Monday- Friday - No weekends, No call


The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for total nursing care of the patient. Specific duties include prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for the pediatric orthopedic patient utilizing special skills, knowledge and judgment in observing and reporting symptoms and condition of the patients. The OR Registered Nurse administers highly specialized care with complicated equipment and demonstrates clinical competence to the Surgical Services' staff and physicians. The OR Registered Nurse demonstrates advance skills of practice, serves as an excellent role model for superior patient care.


Requirements


Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with previous experience in OR and PACU, and a current Texas license with biennial renewal with CPR and PALS certifications.
