Nurse Manager
OR, 40 hours per week
Galveston Hospital, Pediatric Burn Care
The nurse manager (OR/PACU/SP) is a member of the Patient Care Services Management Team, responsible for planning, supervising and directing nursing care and related activities. The manager has responsibilities for environmental control, staffing, personnel, interdepartmental communication, material and equipment management, education of personnel and administrative duties. The manager participates in preparing, managing and auditing the department budgets.

Requirements |

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Masters preferred) with previous experience in OR and PACU, and a current Texas license with biennial renewal with ACLS or PALS certifications. Minimum of four (4) years experience in Nursing, with at least one to two years management experience preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
