Job Description
Administrative Manager of Inpatient Surgery at Beaumont Hospital-Troy, Michigan. mangages multiple specialities, including, but not limited to vascular general, thoracic, ortho, ENT, plastics; 15 operating rooms in Surgical Services at Beaumont Hospital, Troy. Beaumont Hospital, Troy is a 361-bed acute care community teaching hospital that is among the nation's highest volume community hospitals. The Administrative Manager handles all aspects of operarting rooms; directs and supervises patient care; coordinates staff assignments; provides effective human resource management. Responsible for the orientation and inservice education of the OR staff, has 80 plus FTEs reporting to this position; responsible for Quality assurance activities, policy and procedure revisions and infection control surveillance within the department, department budget and Joint Commission/CMS compliance.


Requirements
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (required), State of Michigan – Registered Nurse license, Certification – C.N.O.R., 2-3 years OR nursing experience, BCLS, progressive leadership experience. Ability to manage and coordinate unit activities under extremely stressful conditions. Advanced clinical skills. Strong interpersonal skills, independent clinical judgment, expert clinical competency, leadership ability, ability to work with diverse staff groups, knowledge of research process.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree
