Surgery Patient Care Administrator
The essential functions of this position include planning, leading, organizing, directing and evaluating the delivery of nursing, patient care and respiratory care. Key components of this leadership role include monitoring quality and budgeting standards while managing to achieve hospital and corporate goals. As an Administrator of Orlando Health, this position works with the Patient Care Executive and Chair of Medical Staff Leadership to address patient care issues by serving as a member of key medical and planning committees of the hospital.
Candidates must have a current FL RN license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a closely related field and 6 years of experience in patient care management including nursing management. Must possess the competencies needed to perform responsibilities at a Master’s equivalent level. Experience in managing clinical services in a managed care environment, including productivity enhancement, cost reduction, new program development and quality management is also required. Must demonstrate the ability to affect good medical staff relations while working with highly qualified physicians.
