Doximity Talent Solutions has partnered with a leading health system in the search for a Board-Certified Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in reconstruction in the breathtaking Santa Barbara County, California. This role offers an opportunity to join a well-established independent practice in partnership with a local hospital and Cancer Center. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team at the hospital and Cancer Center, with a specific focus on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, and the opportunity for hand surgery if desired. This role offers integrative and compassionate care, providing access to state-of-the-art treatments and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Partner with patients to conduct thorough patient consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning
• Develop and implement personalized surgical plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure patient safety and satisfaction: provide perioperative and post-operative care and follow-up, upholding rigorous safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, helping them understand their options and expected outcomes
• Be a lifelong learner: stay current with advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
• An active California Medical License or the ability to obtain licensure
• Proficient in microvascular surgery
• Specialized training and experience in breast reconstruction
