Cardiothoracic Surgery PA - Illinois, 3-4 Weeks Per Month

Inpatient cardiothoracic locums in Urbana, Illinois; consistent weekday schedule with optional call.

Highlights

• Work 3-4 weeks/month; consistent blocks available
• Join a team of 5 experienced APPs
• Start as early as this fall

Practice Setting

• Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery team
• Work alongside CV Supervisor and OP-RN
• No clinic responsibilities

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7a-4p
• Weeknight and weekend call possible (not guaranteed)
• Long-term assignment with flexible start date

Cases and Procedures

• CABG, AVR, MVR, ECMO
• Surgical first assist, endoscopic vein harvest (EVH) preferred
• Perioperative care and rounding

Requirements

• PA-C with active Illinois license
• ACLS certification required

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage included
