St. Josephs is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) - RNFA to join our team. Join a busy, high-acuity vascular surgery service that will expose you to a highly specialized patient population while also including direct medical management of the hospitalized patient. Responsibilities: 

• Manage pre and postoperative care of the hospitalized patient including performing rounds, conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting appropriate tests, admission history and physicals 
• Collaborate with and work at direction of attending physicians to form plans of care and manage hospitalized patients 
• First assist in the operating room with all vascular surgery cases 
• Inpatient only, no clinic 

Qualifications: 

• NYS licensed PA or NP (RNFA), DEA certified/eligible 
• Strong surgical and inpatient experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply 
• Will train the right new graduate through our resident program with a comprehensive and supportive orientation process  
• NP applicants must already possess their RNFA certification 

Recruitment Package:

• Non-Operative - Hourly rate range$47.00 per hour- 62.15 per hour
• Operative- Hourly Range $49.33-$74.08 per hour
• Robotic Certification - Hourly range- $50.81- $76.30

Compensation package:

• $15,000 bonus for all new surgical PA hires (payment as follows):
• $5,000 starting bonus.
• $5,000 retention bonus
• $5,000 relocation allowance
