Growing together.We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Registered Nurse-Operating Room at varying levels (II,III,IV). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Registered Nurse-Operating Room II:
- Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care. Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic
- Communicates information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including, physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors
- Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures. Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards
- Registered Nurse-Operating Room III:
- Same duties as Registered Nurse-Operating Room II
- Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards
- Train and work in all service lines. Will be expected to train to scrub in one or more services. Will be responsible for precepting new employees and assuming the charge role when needed.Assists with education initiatives
- Provides oversight of 1 service line
- Registered Nurse-Operating Room IV:
- Same duties as Registered Nurse-Operating Room II/III
- Provides oversight of 2 service lines
- Promotes team knowledge by providing 2 in-services per year. Contributes to process improvement and quality by auditing/tracking key performance indicators

Required Qualifications:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Valid Texas RN license
- Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association
- 2+ years of RN experience in an Operating Room
- Basic Computer Skills
- Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- For Registered Nurse- Operating Room III:
- Have one of the following certifications: Certified Ambulatory Peri Anesthesia Nurse (CAPA), Tele-ICU Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN-E) , Acute/Critical Care Knowledge Professional (CCRN-k) ,Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) , Certified Ambulatory Surgery Nurse (CNAMB), Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) , Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN), or Ambulatory Care Nursing or Pain Management (RN-BC)
- 5+ years of RN experience in an Operating Room
- Support 2 or more service lines
- For Registered Nurse- Operating Room IV:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Have one of the following certifications: Certified Ambulatory Peri Anesthesia Nurse (CAPA), Tele-ICU Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN-E) , Acute/Critical Care Knowledge Professional (CCRN-k) ,Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) , Certified Ambulatory Surgery Nurse (CNAMB), Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) , Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN), or Ambulatory Care Nursing or Pain Management (RN-BC)
- 7+ years of RN experience in an Operating Room
- Support 2 or more service lines
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $34.23 to $61.15 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
