Description
Description: This is a 12-hour shift three days each week, with the shift schedule being from 07:00 - 19:30, total of 36 hours per week. RN PACU with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification, CHS National Institutes of Health (NIH) and 2 professional references. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $72.07/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $54.15/hr, along with a per diem of $17.92/hr.Rate: $72.07 / hour
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Registered Nurse state license or compact license
- Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
- Two years of work experience as Registered Nurse
- One year of Epic experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing (RN)

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
