This position is eligible for a $15,000.00 sign on bonus with a two-year commitment to Mission Health.

Role Summary: Provides direct patient care by assisting the surgeon in achieving desired surgical outcomes. Aids perioperative team by scrubbing and caring for the patient before, during and after surgical intervention. 

Requirements

• Required Education: Surgical Technologist: graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. If LPN in surgical Technologist role: Graduate of an accredited LPN program 
• Preferred Education: Associates of Applied Science in Surgical Technology
• Required License: Surgical Technologist: Current BCLS certification. For individuals hired after August 1, 2007, certification is to be obtained within one year of date of hire. 
  • LPN in Surgical Technologist role: current BCLS certification and current NC license.
  • For individuals hired after August 1, 2007, certification is to be obtained within one year of date of hire. 
• Required Experience: Surgical Technologist: clinical experience in training program LPN in Surgical Technologist role: one-year experience in a Surgical Technologist role in an applicable acute care operating room setting or clinical experience in Surgical Technologist training program
